My brother and myself left our mother (Hazel Foy) in their care. The whole team went above and beyond to help us with the arrangements. Let us know step by step what would happen. Gave us choices of things we could do. Helped us through the process. Mum looked wonderful and very much at peace in the funeral home. We honestly couldn't thank them enough for all their hard work, compassion, empathy and willingness to do what requests we needed., We personally if we could would give them 9 stars, but as it is, it's only out of 5 stars to Joseph Poots funeral directors/parlour ., 5*****

The mcloughlin family will like to show appreciation of the planning of our mummys funeral Sadie mcloughlin. Josh and Cyril were so professional and careful on how delicate the situation was. Up to date communication and no question unanswered however how silly it may same. They had mummy treated in the highest respectful way. It may the family alot less stressed and everything was done to perfection. Mummy had the horse and carriage and it was beautiful and the situation especially losing a loved one was all done to a high standard at affordable prices. Please consider Poots as our family has done for years and years they are amazing and honestly may mummys day beautiful. Poots will allow you to rest easy in mind to allow you to navigate your grief and not worry about the stress of funeral preparations. Thanks sooo much God bless

Josh was very compassionate on our initial meeting helping me through the process of organising the funeral etc. Josh and Cyril were both amazing, throughout the viewings Cyril was on hand to help and advise. The day of the funeral both Josh and Cyril made sure that my family and I understood exactly what was happening and everything moved smoothly.

Poots handled my mother’s funeral with care and professionalism. After more than 18 years of her illness, our family was completely drained, but Poots managed all the heavy responsibilities of the funeral arrangements seamlessly. Their team was outstanding. They also organized the donations for her Cancer charity, which was deeply appreciated.

I can’t Thank Lisa, Wayne and all the staff for their understanding and support during the passing of my late sister. They made what was a very difficult time so much easier to deal with and the service they provide is lovely and personal. I had to travel from England for my sisters funeral and they even made a special exception to open the parlour for me to see my sister out of hours which they didn’t have to do. They have corresponded with me throughout the entire process regarding arrangements and also payment methods. They have been so understanding to my financial situation without pressure of payment making a worrying time a lot less stressful. They have arranged many of my late family members funerals and I wouldn’t go anywhere else when sorting the arrangements for a passing of a loved one. They really do treat each circumstance on a personal level with the compassion needed when you lose a loved one. I can’t thank them enough for all their understanding and help.

Everything was handled perfectly, tlked to lisa about funeral arrangements, hyms and casket choices, arranged the cremation and the choices of where we can go for that.

On behalf of the Wortley Family we recently buried our Dad with the help of Joseph Poots & Sons. We were very pleased in the professional way all the funeral arrangements were carried out. A funeral plan was arranged a few weeks prior to when it was required which took away a lot of stress at the time of our Dads death.

The empathy care and understanding during this very sad time in our lives was greatly appreciated by all family members.
